Our breeding program concentrates on improving with each generation. It is a lifelong passion and commitment to the Saint
Bernard breed that guides us. We have been involved with Saints for over 35 years. We breed to the Breed Standard, with an
emphasis on temperament, conformation and health. The dogs in our program come from both American and International
Champions, proving themselves time after time. We occasionally have puppies available for sale. I take full responsibility for
every puppy that I help to bring to life and look for responsible owners to enjoy them. Read below for more information.
I, along with my family, spoil our Saints everyday. They are AKC Registered with Champion pedigrees, sound with great
temperaments, well structured, and totally spoiled. Along with selecting show prospect pups, they will also make great family
pets and will be wonderful with children as they have been socialized from a early age.
For companion pets, I am looking for loving families and individuals who will provide these cuties with a clean, safe
environment to be raised with lots of love. If for any reason you cannot keep your Idledown Saint anytime in the future, I ask that I
am notified to coordinate arrangements for the puppy to be returned. I do not sell to brokers, agents or pet stores.
For show prospect puppies, I am looking for serious individuals who share in my passion for the breed and take the
responsibility of showing and training Saints seriously. Full registration/Show Contracts are written on an individual basis and
are selective.
Included with all puppies is up to date shots and wormings, vet checks, and a 2 year health, care and return contract. I like to
stay in contact with my puppy buyers after he/she has left for their new home. I am here to help at anytime and always welcome
questions and concerns from my puppy buyers. When you buy a puppy from me, it is NOT the last time you will hear from me. I
am there to support my buyers anytime that they need me.
Pickup vs Shipping - If at all possible, I like for my buyers to visit my kennel to see how your new best friend is raised and to
meet the parents who may be on site. (If we use an outside stud, the sire may not be on site but I will be able to provide
information on the chosen stud. This is not uncommon in reputable breeding kennels.) The social, emotional and physical
development of your puppy is hugely affected by how they are raised their initial 8 weeks. Please try to visit your kennel before
making the decision to purchase a puppy. If it is not possible to visit South Dakota, I can provide pictures of my environment to
help familiarize you with our facilities. Shipping is available and should be discussed prior to purchase. Quotes vary.
